The newest kid on the block-and for those looking for a vehicle under $10K and under 100K miles? We have your back. Again, with back to school and parents wanting a vehicle that will provide safety (AWD, backup camera) but is not overly technologied (is that a word? It is now) for their teenagers, this is the right fit. When I was in high school, my dad drove one of these (albeit an earlier generation, where you also had a Mazda equivalent, the Tribute, as well as a Mercury equivalent (Mariner?) to choose from). I loved it. It could fit the family (me, my mam, my dad, and my brother who grew faster than a sunflower in Yakima) and our stuff-plus generally speaking a cat in a carrier.

This one also has the roof rack already on, so thinking college and beyond when you might need one of them roof boxes to store everything as youre going from point A to point L. And the heated seats are a nice touch, without a pesky sunroof! But, in my opinion, the best part? Thats right. A CD player! Help bring back digital media and get some CDs at the local charity shop, or do as we did and make your own.
