When I saw that we just got this bad boy in on trade, I immediately got excited. I make no secret of the fact that the Ford Flex is in my top five cars. Why?

First off, the utility. It gives you the spacing in a third row that you might have in a minivan, without looking like a minivan (because no matter how cool makers make the vans now, some people still cant get over the lingering aroma of orange slices and stale cereal after Lil Kickers).

Second, the space. Fold that third row flat. Completely flat. Or the second row if you need it! You like car camping? This is perfect for you. You like hauling stuff around without it getting exposed to elements? This is for you.

Third, the roof. This is a fun one because youve got FOUR panels for the roof. The back big one and the middle two small ones each have their own individual shade, so say if one person wants sun and the other shade, easy. The front one is traditional opening.

Fourth, its got style. Yes, I love boxy vehicles (within reason). Reminds me of a kid I went to high school with who was OBSESSED with the xB as it came out in late 2005, for the 06 model year-the year that we graduated. No I didnt go to the reunion. I was not invited.

Fifth? Its unique. It may not be everybodys cup of tea. But my advice, just in a completely 100% biased way, is to get some sweetener in the tea and then voila-youll be converted into a Ford Flex lover.
